Hi I’m a 38 years old Salvadoran woman, I studied Fine arts at the National University of El Salvador, I have a Graphic Design major and I also studied a Master's degree in Digital Marketing at EUDE, (European Business School) from Spain, as my professional freelance career was growing I had to develop more skills to upgrade my work and aesthetic so I decided to study commercial photography which I enjoyed a lot, since I took two subjects at the University. In my country we don’t have a Photography academy so I took a One Year diploma at Monica Herrera School of Communication in El Salvador, since then I have been working with graphic design, social media and photography. I became a graphic designer because I loved art and Illustration since I was a kid. I started to include my illustration to my designs about 5 years ago and it has been so fulfilling for my soul, seeing my inner child dreams come true. I have dedicated most of my career to mental health and gender violence prevention projects because I believe in building a more gender inclusive and violence free society in my country, El Salvador. In 2022 I moved to Canada with my husband, we are both chasing our dreams and delicious new flavours, I think it is part of the adventure of sharing my life with a professional Chef/Drummer. Here in Victoria BC I’m learning more about different cultures and inclusion. Thank you for being here and supporting my work.

Soy Salvadoreña tengo 38 años, soy Licenciada en Artes Plásticas con especialidad en Diseño gráfico, estudié en la Universidad Nacional de El Salvador, también estudié una maestría en Mercadeo Digital en EUDE y un diplomado en Fotografía comercial. Tengo 12 años de estar trabajando profesionalmente en el área de diseño gráfico y fotografía, siempre quise ser ilustradora, desde chiquita, recuerdo que tenía un libro de Alicia en el país de las maravillas y pasaba horas viendo las ilustraciones, me sumergía en ellas, imaginándome a mí en cada escenario, y así con cada libro que veía. Mis libros favoritos eran los de la editorial Barco de Vapor que siempre siguen siendo una gran fuente de inspiración para mí. Me encanta el diseño editorial porque puedo incluir mis ilustraciones, me encanta diseñar e ilustrar material didáctico, libros educativos e infografías. Parte de mi vida profesional la he dedicado a proyectos de inclusión social, prevención de violencia, salud mental y educación, es mi granito de arena para ayudar a crear una sociedad más equitativa, inclusiva y sin violencia. Me vine a vivir a Canadá con mi esposo en el 2022 andamos persiguiendo sabores del mundo es parte de la aventura de compartir la vida con un Chef y baterista de corazón. Acá estoy aprendiendo mucho de diversidad cultural e inclusión. Muchas gracias por estar acá y apoyar mi trabajo.
